Reading- I would like to thank all of you for taking the time to read with your child nightly. This only helps make them stronger readers!
Math- Some things that would be a lot of help for your child is continuing practicing addition skills, continue with telling time skills, ask your child to tell you if a time would be p.m. or a.m. depending on what is happening for example at 9:00 I'm going to bed...would that be a.m. or p.m. For measurement have your child tell you if he or she should use centimeters, inches, or meters when measuring something in or outside of the house like a pencil, your car, the room, the bed, his or her shoes, a plate etc... Your child doesn't have to measure it, but if he or she did measure it, which would work best. Also give your child two measurements and have him or her tell you which is more likely to be the measurement for example measuring a pencil...would that be 6 inches or 6 meters. Have him or her measure two different items with centimeters or inches and have her tell you how much bigger one is than the other. For example the book is 10 inches long and the glue stick is 3 inches long. Which item is longer and how much longer is it?
Writing- We will be finishing up our informational writing and then start on opinion writing.
