Message from Mrs. Cooper regarding East Extravaganza-
I know it's early but I just wanted to send a note about the Willard East School Carnival/Extravaganza to be held on May 11th. This will be the final fundraiser for the year and end of the year celebration. It will be from 5:30 to 8:00. Each classroom will have a game for the kids to play, and our classroom's game is the duck pond. We have ducks available for us to use. I will be trying to borrow an inflatable ducky bathtub to use.
We will need some parents to work the duck pond game. Here are the scheduled time slots for game help:
5:30-6:00 Set up help needed
6:00-6:30 game help needed
6:30-7:00 game help needed
7:00-7:30 game help needed
7:30-8:00 take down help needed
We will need two volunteers in each time slot. If your family would like to volunteer and you have a child with you, we ask that your child be with another adult while you are volunteering so that all the kids can enjoy playing the carnival games. I'll be sending home sign up sheets and you can send them back with your child to hand in to Mrs. Smith. Please return these forms as soon as possible. All volunteers names will be entered into a drawing for a fabulous prize to be drawn the last week of school.
Also, each classroom will donate an item for the silent auction. As time allows, I plan to make a fleece blanket with all the kids hand prints on it. If you would like to help or make a small donation for this project, please contact me. I have already traced the kids hands this week.
If you have any questions, feel free to email me [email protected] or call me at 417-300-4123.
Thanks
Kris Cooper
