Next week at a glance:
Fall Pictures: This week I sent home the picture order form. Please don't forget Tuesday is picture day. We will be taking our class picture on Tuesday as well.
Math- Practicing addition facts at home would be so helpful for your child. We are doing Rocket Math on Mondays to help with fluency, but any extra help they get at home would be great as well. We are wrapping up unit 2 this coming week and taking the assessment on Friday.
Writing- Next week we will be reading mentor texts to observe how the author writes and try to add some of those creative skills in our writing. We will also be working on using multiple types of punctuation in our writing.
Reading- Please remember to read nightly with your child. I am sending home the spelling test today. Great job to the kids! They did a great job. You will notice I am being very picky about using capital letters correctly on these tests.
Social Studies- The kids created a map of our classroom yesterday! It was so fun to hear them talking about what they needed to add to their maps.:) I LOVE teamwork!!
Parent Teacher Conference- Link to use to sign up for a parent teacher conference. Please let me know if you have any issues and I will gladly help.
