Reading- Please continue reading nightly with your child. Have him or her read to you and then ask them questions about what they just read. Another helpful skill for your child is to go back and reread. This can be used when they miss a word or when the sentence doesn't make sense to them.
Math-We are moving on to unit 3. This unit works with the measurements of inches, centimeters, feet, and yards. They are also expected to be able to tell time on an analog clock. The kids are expected to be able to write the hands on a clock for a specific time they are given.
Writing- The kids have researched an animal and are writing an informational piece about that animal.
Social Studies- We are learning about Woodland Indians in Social Studies.
