A message from Mrs. Willoughby about our Valentine’s Party:
Parents,
Cupid will soon be visiting Mrs. Smith's 2nd grade class! On Thursday, February 14, at 11:45 we will have our Valentine party.
Here's the plan: Everyone will have PIZZA for lunch, then we will have stations to do a craft, games, and decorate cookies,
and then of course, trade Valentines! We will also send home a treat. The students will bring in their own decorated Valentine
box on the day of the party. Mrs. Smith will send out a current list of the students names. If you can, please send in $2 in an
envelope labeled "party" to cover the cost of the pizza.
If you can help out with any of the following or plan on attending, please email me at [email protected].
-items for treat bag (bags, toys, candy, etc)
-paper plates & napkins
-water bottles
-bag of converstation hearts
-bag of valentine candy corn
-plain sugar cookies from the grocery bakery
-tubs of pink/white/red icing
Although we have the craft covered (thank you Janie White), please let me know if you have any great ideas for the games.
Thank you!
I am sending home a class list for your child’s Valentines.
