Family Reading Night March 1st
•5:30 – 6:30 Backyard Burgers will be here for dinner
•6:00 – 7:30 Family events come and go style! There will be activities for families to do together. You can stay the whole time or leave when you’re done.
•Book Swap: Please bring a gently used or new book to be traded for another book you can take home! (Book swap books will be collected in the Music Room just like last year.)
Read A Thon
Those packet went home on Monday. The kids are allowed to use school time for their reading. The kids usually read 25-30 minutes on an average day, but some read more.
If our school meets the $3,000 goal, Coach J. and Mr. Morton are going to have to dress up in dresses and makeup for one whole day. J
The money received from the Read A Thon will go towards new technology in our classrooms!
Published Books-Reminder
Our class is publishing a book. I sent out order forms for the books Tuesday, 2/21/12. If you are not interested in purchasing one of the books, please check the box stating you are not interested in purchasing a book and return it back to our class. I do need all of these order forms returned to me by, Monday, 2/27/12. We will be shipping out our books to be completed that week along with all of the orders. The kids have worked really hard on this book and are really excited to see the finished product.
